Horsemanship
Afternoon Demonstration by Anna with her own horse Apollo.
This demonstration afternoon was to show the work in progress that Apollo had made since Febuary 2009 when I bought him. Apollo was sold to me because he had developed troubling behaviour in certain situations. The demonstration illustrated how over time I am working to help Appllo find self carriage and softness in all that he does. I also demonstrated how I work to help horses overcome their fear of objects and ropes around their legs, neck, girth area or under the tail. I did this to show how I aim to create a safer outcome in future unexpected potentially dangerous situations.

Unfortunately I don't have any ridden photos from this event. The middle photo in the bottom row was taken during a discussion about having slack in the rope while rocking a horse's weight from the right fore to the left fore.
